Seals are materials or components that prevent fluid or solid particles from leaking between adjacent bonding surfaces and prevent external impurities such as dust and moisture from entering the interior of machinery and equipment. It is best to store the seals at room temperature below 30 ℃ to avoid high-temperature aging of the seals. Below are the requirements for installing seals.
1. Before assembling the sealing components, it is necessary to carefully check the dimensions and surface roughness, and there should be no axial scratches on the lips.
2. During assembly, the surface of the seal should be coated with lubricating oil. When using press fit assembly, attention should be paid to aligning the seal with the housing hole and ensuring that the lip of the seal faces in the direction of pressure.
3. When using mechanical sealing components, it is necessary to ensure that the contact surface between the dynamic and static rings is free of scratches and cleaned thoroughly.
4. The main shaft of the sealing component should not have rust marks on the sealed area, and should be kept clean during assembly. Do not use metal tools to directly strike.
